    if a shark gets you and your wearing a red life jacket it wont stain! so thats another plus!

    red is one of the first colours in the spectrum to actually vanish underwater…

    I like this. No pretence.
    Flat water paddling and away you go.

    No one suggests this information will put you on the ocean or ripping up class 3 or 4 white stuff.

    in his video about picking out a kayak he doesnt even mention whitewater, and in this video he suggests a paddle is not a necessary part of your gear, i dont think he won his 7 awards without a paddle, hes kinda narrow in his suggested paddleing and its aimed towards old people who cant get in anything that isnt almost completly open. I think this video could have done a lot better job.

Canoe

A canoe is a small narrow boat, typically human-powered, though it may also be powered by sails or small electric or gas motors. Canoes are usually pointed at both bow and stern and are normally open on top, but can be decked over i.e. covered, similar to a kayak.In its human-powered form, the canoe is propelled by the use of paddles, usually by two people. Paddlers face in the direction of travel, either seated on supports in the hull, or kneeling directly upon the hull. Paddling can be contrasted with rowing, where the rowers usually face away from the direction of travel and use mounted oars though a wide canoe can be fitted with oarlocks and rowed. Paddles may be single-bladed or double-bladed.
