I saw the bear fine.. I mean I didn’t see him walk in but when he kind of stood in the middle for a second, I noticed it.

I didn’t see the “bear” the first time because I was preoccupied with the counting. When I was looking for the “bear”, I had no trouble seeing it. This shows that one does not always notice something if one’s attention is on something else. One also does not expect to see a bear in the middle of a basketball game. People tend to see what they expect to see. I’ll bet most people didn’t see the bear the first time. Besides, if it had been a real bear, I might have spotted it more easily.

The bear isn’t wearing high viz. Just goes to show that you shouldn’t wear dark colours when cycling and definately not a bear suit
